Tom Burrows

Tom Burrows is EVP, Global Head of Rights at DAZN Group, working on DAZN’s global rights partnerships. After joining the company (formerly Perform Group) in February 2015, as Legal Counsel, Burrows become Head of Legal – Content & Global Partnerships, then the business’ most senior rights lawyer. In 2018, he moved into a rights acquisition strategy role.

Burrows has been behind some of DAZN’s landmark rights deals, including the acquisition of Serie A in Italy, LaLiga in Spain and Bundesliga in Germany – securing the most prestigious domestic football rights in three of the top 5 European markets – as well as UEFA’s first ever all-streaming award of the Champions League in a Top 5 market as part of DAZN’s acquisition in Germany. In recent years, he has expanded his remit, securing significant distribution deals that underpin DAZN’s premium rights acquisitions in both Spain and Italy, increasing the accessibility of live sports to fans around the world.
