Lucy Cutler
Lucy started her career as a runner at Meridian TV and after two years went to BBC Wales to work as an assistant producer on their rugby magazine programme Scrum V. From there she landed her dream job on Grandstand at BBC Sport where for five years she worked as a producer on everything from the Olympics to Ski Sunday, Rugby Special and Sports Personality of the Year, winning two RTS awards in the process. Leaving the BBC in 2005, her freelance career led her to work as programme editor of the Great North Run and Crufts and as executive producer on All Roads Lead Down Under, a six part documentary series about the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Now working as Creative Director for FilmNova, Lucy heads up their development team, continues in her role of programme editor on the Great North Run and the Boat Race and is currently exec producing FilmNova’s ITV documentary The Last Dance following the farewell tour of Torvill and Dean.
