Yath runs the Commercial team at Sky Sports, leading on sports rights acquisitions, including the recently announced game-changing deal with the WSL, strategy, insight, business development and partnerships. He manages relationships with sports rights holders and the wider industry for Sky. 

Prior to Sky, he was the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Formula One, providing long term direction across all aspects of the sport, including working on growth in the key markets of the USA and China, the introduction of a new racing format in the F1 Sprint and developing the sport’s ambitious sustainability and D&I plans.

He holds an MA (Oxon) in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and has completed Sustainability and Executive Education courses at the University of Cambridge and MIT Sloan School of Management, respectively.
